All payments must be remitted at the door. Anyone mailing in payment for CampOUT
2008 who is not received before we the organizers depart for West Virginia will not
get in. DO NOT attempt to mail in any payment!! RATES:
Long Fork in beautiful West Virginia will be our host this year. They are located in Walton, WV, one hour Northeast of the Capitol Charleston. Their grounds include a pool and spa, Phoenix club room (dungeon), Cabins, a Lodge, RV pull through spaces w/hookups, and rental RVs (we have been informed that these have air conditioning). The Event field where most of CampOUT's activities will be taking place has a large barn where dining will happen, an open air pavilion, and stage. There is electricity available on the camping field, but those will be first come first serve. If you plan to reserve any of Long Fork's cabins, lodge rooms, RV spaces, or rental RVs you will be paying Long Fork directly for the rental. The cost of registration for CampOUT will be the same whether or not you camp in a tent on the event field or stay in accomodations supplied by Long fork, and you will be paying LaGarou the registration cost seperately. Just like if you went to a conference in a hotel, and stayed in a room in the host hotel. Just for clarity the cost of CampOUT's registration includes the camp fees for people camping in tents. You won't have to pay Long Fork if you will be tenting with us on the festival field. Join us for four days, three nights in the woods with FTMs, MTFs, all kinds of transpeople, and their supporters for our fourth annual CampOUT. EVERYONE is welcome regardless of sex, or sexual orientation; gender, or gender expression. CampOUT is a unique event whose heart lies in both the transmasculine and leather communities. We host a gathering that is conducive for people to explore their gender and sexuality safely. Come to relax and allow for time to slow down. You will find lots of time to have long conversations with old friends and meet new people. We hope you will have fun and be renewed. There are many things to see and do at CampOUT. Workshops, demos, rituals, see old friends, make new ones, do everything you can or nothing at all. Bek of tattooheathen.com will be returning again this year to ply her trade tattooing & piercing happy campers by day and hanging out having fun at night We will also have transfriendly Massage, and Reiki! We're looking at a diverse schedule of workshops and demos, from trans issues to leather/bdsm, leather/bdsm spirituality, trans spirituality, and maybe even some campy summer camp stuff. Outdoor or indoor play space, and nightly camp fires round out the possibilities at CampOUT. More info on our vendors is available on this page MERCHANTS. Returning this year as a presenter is Raven Kaldera. Additionally we are very excited to have Lee Harrington come and give us many Demos. Rev. Rik Fire, E. CampOUT will NOT return to Lothlorien Nature Sanctuary this year. Lothlorien has decided that BDSM is not a spiritual practice. They do not want our event to return, and they asked that we not reference them on our website.
