NOVEMBER BAR NIGHT! Transgender Day of Rememberance (TDR) with LaGarou Saturday, November 15th Starts at 9pm Warehouse Leather Bar 119 N. Erie St. Toledo, OH Sabreena Lachlainn, from Detroit, MI, and 2004-05 Edward Ginsberg Award winner will be speaking about TDoR, and transgender rights. We will also have a silent auction to raise money for TransOhio. While TDoR is a solemn day we will be having fun that night! We will be raising money for TransOhio, a statewide transgender organization based in Columbus. We will be memorializing slain transgender people in the bar for the TDoR. $2.00 Cover

La Fraternitié du Loup-Garou La Garou is a levi/leather club whose main focus is transmasculine people who were born female or intersexed and raised female but whose gender identiy is masculine. It is also for people who are interested in showing support for transmasculine people in the leather community. La Garou is involved in fostering a greater understanding of transgendered people in general and transmasculine people in particular within the leather and BDSM community, including the spiritual aspects of those communities. The experiences of transpeople can help us to understand ideas that may not always make it across lines of communication between various groups in the leather and BDSM community. With the support and understanding of our allies, both trans and non-trans, we will continue to build bridges and foster growth in the leather and BDSM community. Founded in 2002, La Garou supports and encourages participation locally, nationally and internationally in the leather community by trans and non-trans people. While full membership is reserved for transmasculine people, our allies are encouraged to show support by becoming associate members. There are two membership levels: Alpha (full) and Beta (associate). Alpha membership is open to transmasculine people who are not members of any other back patch levi/leather or bear club. Beta membership is open to anyone trans or non-trans who wishes to show support for transmasculine people. Anyone interested in becoming Alpha members need to attend a LaGarou event to start the process. People interested in becoming Beta members are encouraged to attend a La Garou sponsored event. La Garou is a small but growing international club. Interested individuals are encouraged to start local chapters. Three individuals who are interested and willing to become Alpha members are eligible to start a local or regional chapter. See our membership page for more membership details. MEMBERSHIP
